@ the zoo

Was great seeing these massive yet placid Giraffes at the Mysore Zoo, a few years ago. In Karnataka, India.

  1. Hi Kavi, Aren’t they strange fascinating creatures? At the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle, I once saw a baby giraffe running. It slipped and its legs came out from under it. It feel with a whomp! I was so sorry, and then a Mama zebra in the same exhibit came over and gave it a little nuzzle. It almost looked to me as if it was helping it up. Just a little glimpse of life on the Seattle Savannah.

  2. Hi Naomi, they really are fascinating…with their slow gait & they get to munch snacks off trees 🙂 The incident you mentioned is interesting..I think animals have their own brotherhood across the species which can sense if another needs help.
